World acclaimed Irish Tenor Emmet Cahill will perform at St. Columba Cathedral, 159 West Rayen Avenue in Youngstown on Thursday, March 14 at 7:30pm.

Cahill began touring with the international Irish music group Celtic Thunder in 2011. The 33-year-old has appeared on PBS, the Today Show and made his debut with a sold out performance at Carnegie Hall in 2018. Cahill’s “Ireland” album debuted at #1 on the Billboard World Music Charts with Sony Music USA. He’s expected to perform traditional Irish favorites, church hymns and Broadway classics.

Tickets for the Youngstown show are $35 for General Admission and $50 for the concert and meet and greet (starting at 6:00pm). Proceeds directly support future Cathedral concerts. Purchase tickets at EmmetCahill.com

Attendees will also enjoy the recent renovations to St. Columba Cathedral. As part of the Diocese of Youngstown’s celebration of its 80th Anniversary in 2023, the Cathedral’s sanctuary has been renovated to bring about greater harmony between the elements of the space and their liturgical importance. The renovations enhance the beauty of the cathedral’s prominent mosaic, along with additional aesthetic improvements. Read more about the Cathedral renovations here.
