OCP offers parish grants yearly for the promotion and enhancement of parish music programs. Applications are submitted online and will be available in early 2025.

Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commission (FDLC) National Meeting
The 2024 National Meeting of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions (FDLC) will be October 1-3 in downtown Pittsburgh. Special study day on October 2 is open to all; virtual options available.
The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day)
Mass for All Souls’ Day may be celebrated on Saturday morning, however it is not celebrated on Saturday evening at the regularly scheduled anticipated Mass.
Deadline to Register for Leader of Prayer Formation Series
Lay Leaders of Prayer are a great assistance when a priest is not available to provide an opportunity and lead prayer for the faithful. Lay Leaders of Prayer often preside at Liturgy of the Word services with or without Holy Communion, Morning and Evening Prayer, Vigil Services for deceased members of the parish, Stations of the Cross and other devotional prayer services. Potential candidates must be endorsed by their pastor to serve in this ministry. Registration details will be sent soon.
Youngstown Hymn Sing-July 13th at 11:00am: Trinity United Methodist Church
Join us for “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” a community event on July 13 at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown, benefiting Mahoning Valley Sojourn to the Past. Enjoy inspiring music from a special festival chorus and featured organists, and hear impactful stories from students involved in the program. Admission is free, with a free-will offering to support the cause, and refreshments will follow the performance.

The Parish Grant Program is open to all Roman Catholic parishes and campus ministries within the United States. Applicants do not have to use an OCP worship program to qualify.
