Prison Chaplain Padre Ernesto Rodriguez is encouraging individuals or groups to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet one Friday per month at 3pm, especially on First Fridays. Please join us in praying for all those involved in the justice system including:
- incarcerated or detained people
- their families on the outside
- victims of crimes
- returning citizens trying to re-enter communities after incarceration
- those in ministry serving any of those groups

Join the 1st Friday Divine Mercy Chaplet for Prison Ministry
Do you know someone impacted by time in prison or jail? Is your heart heavy over ICE detainees? Want to pray for victims of crime, or families of those effected? DOY Prison Ministry serves in all six counties of our diocese. We invite you to join us in praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3pm on Fridays, especially on First Fridays. Our intention will be for incarcerated people, their families on the outside, victims of crimes, returning citizens re-entering communities, staff of correctional facilities, and those in prison ministry.
