YOUNGSTOWN, OH – The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown invites all those who volunteer or work in our parishes, schools and agencies to gather for prayer and learning during Ministry Day 2026. The event takes place Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at St. Thomas Aquinas High School (2121 Reno Drive NE, Louisville, OH 44641).
This year’s theme is: “Rekindling Joy in our Vocations.” Ministry Day features keynote speaker Darcy Osby, break-out workshops in a myriad of ministry topics, exhibitors, prayer, as well as morning refreshments and lunch. Registration is now open for individual participants, with an Early Bird rate of $35 available through September 20; registration increases to $40 after that date. About the Keynote Speaker:
Darcy Osby is the Director of Faith Formation at Saint Aidan Parish in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, where she leads baptism preparation, infant and toddler ministry, children’s faith formation, and OCIA. She has been serving in parish catechetical ministry for 14 years. Darcy has a Master of Divinity from the Catholic Theological Union, and is currently pursuing a certificate in Spiritual Direction through Loyola University of Chicago.
