Second Annual Hispanic Ministry Conference to be held at St. Michael Parish on March 9

Bishop David Bonnar is extending an invitation to discuss the Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry in the Diocese of Youngstown on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The gathering at Saint Michael Parish will begin with Mass in Spanish at 10:00am in the church. This will be followed by a time for dialogue and Q&A in the parish hall after Mass.The day will conclude with a free boxed lunch at noon. You can RSVP here

In his letter last month, en Español, Bishop Bonnar encouraged parishioners to make an effort to participate in the second Diocesan Hispanic Summit. He went on to say; “The Church relies on the generous reception of God’s grace in the lives of her members united in communion.  Let us ask for his grace, ‘That All May Be One.’”

The Office of Hispanic Ministry for the Diocese of Youngstown includes support for a variety of ministries, including Spanish-language Masses at four parishes: Our Lady of Peace Parish in Ashtabula, St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Canton, St. Paul Parish in Salem and St. Dominic Parish in Youngstown.
